Dhanvi Carbide Pvt. Ltd. -To further increase the domain of K.L. Dugar Group, a new battery plant was conceptualised to be the most modern and technologically advanced plant in Nepal. With this vision in mind, the board of directors of K.L. Dugar Group decided to have Dhanvi Carbide Pvt. Ltd., a modern battery plant in Biratnagar, Nepal.

Tricell Multipurpose Battery was the flagship brand of Dhanvi Carbide Pvt. Ltd. The brand name was launched in the R6 and R20 categories. Later an even more superior quality "Tricell Gold" was introduced in the market. Dhanvi Carbide Pvt. Ltd. was the first battery company in Nepal to export dry cell batteries to India. Another popular brand "999 Multipurpose" battery was also manufactured by the industry.

Yet another revolutionary product was launched with the name "GORKHA" which symbolises bravery and strength for the country. This brand has already become popular in the urban and rural areas of the country.

"Mustang" battery is the latest addition to the wide range of batteries being produced by Dhanvi Carbide Pvt. Ltd.

It has all the modest machineries in our plant with a speed of 200 cells per minute for R20 & 250 cells per minute for R6. Our plant is working on the procedures of ISO-9001 and we have already applied of BIS certifications.
